Super quick and delicious. Speed doesn't compromise the taste. Tucked away behind the Tampa airport is a family owned Peruvian restaurant with delicious chicken and I got the bow with rice and salad like toppings. It's super juicy, flavorful and the rice is to die for.

In search of Green Rice for my wife we were told about this place. It had a fast food vibe and an open kitchen but there were servers for the tables. On Hillsborough Ave. and Old Anderson Rd. they have their own parking and the place is new to me, I had not previously noticed it. We ordered a family meal with three sides. Cilantro Rice, Roasted Chicken, Black Beans and Fried Green Plantain. The food was excellent, from the chicken that was plump and juicy to the wifes flavorful green rice which paired well with the beans. We could not enjoy the meal due to the air conditioning which blew rigorously from above the entire time. There was no escaping it. We put our food aside as it got cold right away and had dessert instead. Their flan is fantastic, but the Mil Hojas was bad. They were aware it was bad but served it anyway. We took the food home to warm it up and we enjoyed it immensely. So, as recommendations go, the food was great. However, unless they have addressed the A/C issue, I would get it to go. It's a very limited Peruvian menu with many of my favorites missing. There was no seafood.

I wanted to bring my father out to someplace new... We never come to this side of town but it was SO immediately worth it, lemme tell you... We know this place is known for chicken-- I'm a diehard steak lover. I got the Lomo Saltado, that thing was SPECTACULAR. I'm talkin' mad fire. This thing had the best cuts, the most tender, the most juicy, absolute BOMB of flavor from the first bite and you should have seen my face when I did-- HOLY CANNOLI Alright and then we had to try the cilantro rice and it was as good as my Abuela's WHICH IS INSANE!!! We even had three desserts because we wanted to try so much. They were all fire. Completely blew it out the water for me, and we will be coming back! AMAZING RESTAURANT and VERY NICE waitstaff!!!

We recently enjoyed Portuguese roast chicken while on vacation, so I came back on the hunt for a local spot that could provide a comparable bird. I didn't find a Portuguese spot, but I did find this Peruvian spot in Tampa, Cuenelli's. It was my first time visiting and certainly won't be my last. We walked in and basically had the place to ourselves for a late lunch on Saturday. We were greeted and seated immediately. We looked over the menu and decided to split a whole roast chicken and started out with an appetizer of yuca a Ia huancaina. Our food came out quickly and it looked good. The bird had a gorgeous color and crispy skin. The yuca a Ia huancaina was fried yuca sticks covered in a spicy cheese/cream cheese sauce. It was our first time having it , but we absolutely loved it. After we polished that off, we tore into the bird. The chicken was super tender, but still very moist. The skin had incredible flavor. We both really enjoyed that chicken. It was served with aji sauce, but it didn't need anything. Both sauces were exceptional and only added to the incredible flavor of the bird. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch. Service was good, food was incredible, and the value was surprising. Our tab was $22 for a full roast chicken and an appetizer. Hard to beat that. We will definitely be back soon. Solid chicken spot..
